For celebrants

Receive couple enquiries from the Yarra Valley

Couples tell us the date, town, guest range and ceremony style. If you already work this region and you are authorised, register your interest.

This page is for authorised marriage celebrants who already work the Yarra Valley — Healesville, Yarra Glen, Coldstream, Warburton, Lilydale, the Dandenong Ranges, and the country between — and who want to receive couple enquiries from this site.

It is not a marketplace listing, a paid directory, or a promise of volume. We will not publish fees, conversion rates, or how many couples write in a month. If you need those numbers to decide, this is not a pitch. If you want a quiet supply of couples who have already told us the date, the town and the kind of ceremony they want, register your interest below.

Who the couples are

They are people planning a wedding or a vow renewal in this region. They have usually started with a venue or a season, and they have just learned — or they already knew — that a lawn does not marry them. They have read the celebrant hub or a town page. They have been asked to check the Attorney-General’s Department register. They have agreed, in writing, that their enquiry can be shared with up to three celebrants.

They are not a purchased list. They asked.

How a lead is qualified

The couple form collects a small, useful set of fields. That is the whole qualification.

Step 1 — the day and the ground

  • wedding date, or an explicit “not set yet”
  • ceremony town or venue area: Healesville, Yarra Glen, Coldstream, Warburton, Lilydale, Dandenong Ranges, elsewhere in the Yarra Valley, or not sure yet
  • guest count as a range: just us, 2–20, 21–50, 51–80, 81–120, 120+

Step 2 — the ceremony

  • style, one or more: civil, elopement, small or intimate, religious-free, cultural, same-sex, vow renewal
  • optional budget band, written as ranges only — we do not tell couples what you charge

Step 3 — how to reach them

  • names
  • email
  • phone
  • preferred contact method: email, phone, or either
  • an optional message
  • required consent to share the enquiry with up to three Yarra Valley celebrants

We also keep the page they sent from and any UTM tags on the link, so we can see whether they came from a town guide or a planning note. We do not collect identity documents, passport numbers or Notice of Intended Marriage files. Those belong with you, on the official form, when the couple is ready to lodge.

How sharing works

A completed couple enquiry may be passed to up to three celebrants. You may email or phone using the method they chose. They are not obliged to book you. You are not obliged to take every enquiry.

The privacy page tells couples this in plain language, in the spirit of the Australian Privacy Act. If you receive a lead, you become responsible for how you store and use that personal information in your own practice. Do not add them to a newsletter unless they ask you. Do not pass the enquiry to someone else.

We do not describe ourselves as a government service. Couples are told to confirm you on the official register before they lodge a notice. You should want that. The Notice of Intended Marriage still has to be given to the celebrant who will solemnise the marriage, at least one month and no more than 18 months before the wedding, as the Attorney-General’s Department sets out.

Service areas we write about

Public pages exist for:

and for elopements, small weddings, same-sex weddings and vow renewals.

If you cover two towns and not a third, say so on the register-interest form. If you do not take vow renewals, say so. If you welcome same-sex couples as a matter of course, say so. Specifics beat adjectives.

We do not place you as a named vendor on those pages. The couple-facing writing stays independent. The introduction happens by enquiry.

What we are not asking you to do

We are not asking you to pay a published lead price on this page. We are not asking you to accept a ranking. We are not asking you to let us write your biography. We are asking whether you want to be in the small group who may receive a qualified enquiry when a couple writes from this site.

If that conversation later includes a commercial arrangement, it will be a separate, direct one. It will not be invented here as a rate card.

Register your interest

Use the form on this page. The subject line is “Celebrant partner enquiry”. Tell us your name, a trading name if you use one, email, phone, the towns you already cover, and a little about the work — civil, cultural, languages, weekdays, elopements. Confirm you are authorised, or that you are applying as an authorised celebrant.

We will write back when we have read it. There is no automated approval and no claimed queue length.

Couples start on the public guide. If you want to see the questions they are reading, open the hub and the legal notice page. Then send the form.

Tell us who you are and where you already take ceremonies. No prices and no promised volumes — only a conversation about receiving couple enquiries.
